Here’s Your Website Health Check
Thanks for requesting it!
Below is your checklist to help you sense-check how your website is performing and where there may be opportunities to improve.
You can work through it quickly, or save it for when you have a bit more headspace.
1. First Impressions
Is it immediately clear what you do and who you help?
Would someone new understand your offering within a few seconds?
Does the tone sound like you, or does it feel generic?
2. Clarity of Services
Are your key services easy to find?
Are they explained in a way your clients would actually understand?
Does each page clearly explain what you do and why it matters?
3. Structure and Flow
Does your content feel easy to read, or is it heavy and hard to follow?
Are pages broken into clear sections?
Is there a natural flow from one section to the next?
If you’re already spotting a few things that feel off, you’re not alone. This is exactly where most websites start to drift.
4. Is Your Website Answering Questions?
Does your website clearly answer the questions your clients are already asking?
Do you have FAQs on key pages?
Are you explaining things in plain language?
A lot of websites miss this, and it can make a real difference to how useful your content feels.
5. Visibility
Are your pages aligned with what people might search for?
Do your headings reflect your services and location?
Are you showing up for the types of enquiries you want?
6. Is It Set Up for How People Search Today?
Would your content make sense if someone found it through Google?
Could parts of your website be pulled into an answer by AI tools?
Are your key points clear and easy to extract?
7. Calls to Action
Is it clear what someone should do next?
Are your contact points easy to find?
Do your calls to action feel natural, not pushy?
8. When Did You Last Review It?
Has your business changed since the site was written?
Are your services still accurate?
Does your website still reflect where you’re at now?
How Did You Go?
Mostly yes
You’re likely in a pretty good place. Even so, there’s usually still room to refine and improve.
A few no’s
There may be some easy wins here. A content refresh could help improve clarity and performance.
Mostly no
It may be time to take a closer look at how your website is working. Not necessarily a full rebuild, but a more considered update.
Not sure what to do next?
