When Emma first reached out, she was looking for a simple website refresh for her interior design business, EWSpaces. But as we started working together, it became clear that her brand was evolving into something bigger, something that needed space to grow.
The Challenge
Over time, Emma’s creative practice had expanded beyond interiors into a broader world of colour, styling, and design education. She was preparing to launch a new offering, EWColour, and needed a brand framework that could hold both her established business (EWSpaces) and her new venture with clarity and cohesion.
Our challenge was to create a unified parent brand, EWDesign, that could confidently house both sub-brands while allowing each to retain its own identity and focus.
Our Approach
We started by mapping out the structure of Emma’s growing brand family, defining how EWDesign, EWSpaces, and EWColour would each function and connect. From there, we looked at design, tone, and hierarchy, ensuring the overarching brand felt polished and professional, while each sub-brand retained its unique personality.
On the website side, we moved from a light refresh to a full rebuild, designing a platform that felt modern, intuitive, and flexible enough to evolve with the business. The new site showcases Emma’s expertise across colour and design, positioning her as both a creative and a trusted advisor in her field.
The Outcome
The new EWDesign website brings everything together under one clear, cohesive umbrella. Visitors can now explore Emma’s full suite of services from interior design and styling to colour consulting and creative education, all through a single, unified experience.
The refreshed visual direction and messaging reflect the sophistication and warmth of Emma’s work, with thoughtful details that invite people to explore and connect.
“What started as a refresh became a complete transformation, one that now reflects where my business is heading,” says Emma.
Looking Ahead
EWDesign is now positioned for growth, with a strong foundation to support both her existing and future ventures. It’s always a privilege to help bring clarity and structure to a brand in transition, especially when it represents such a thoughtful creative vision.
